University & faculty initiatives

The ITL has worked with colleagues across the university to establish networks of expertise as part of a range of projects related to the evolving strategic priorities of the university. These projects have supported faculties in operationalising strategic agendas such as the First Year Experience, Generic Graduate Attributes and Research Enhanced Learning and Teaching.

The Faculty Dean’s nominees on these projects are listed for each initiative, and these people can provide local expertise and leadership for colleagues in their faculties on the project topics.

It is intended that these collegial networks will become self-sustaining communities of practice and the ITL contributes to these networks in ways that will achieve this goal.

The Evaluation and Quality Assurance Working Group provides a forum for debate and development in relation to faculty strategies to enhance Teaching and Learning.

One of the major networks of teaching and learning expertise in the University is the Alumni of ITL academic development programs and the Graduate Certificate.
