The examples showcase initiatives at the University of Sydney together with a number of overseas institutions. We will continue to add to the databases in the future. You can contact those involved by clicking on the email address following your search.
Please feel free to contact us in the ITL should you have any enquiries.
Guidelines for searching
You can search the database by either text or keyword.
A text search allows you to enter your own search term. The database will search for that term and return the number of entries that match it. You can enter individual words (eg, assessment) or phrases (eg, student learning).
You can search for “student learning”, or “student” and “learning” by choosing whether you want to search for those words individually or together.
A keyword search allows you to search using pre-determined terms organised in drop down menus. At present, all entries have been coded for a University of Sydney specific context. You can search the database for any number of the following combinations:
- Department or Discipline
- Faculty
- Theme
eg, if you are looking for a specific innovation to do with assessment in the Faculty of Science, choose Theme in the Category field and Assessment in the Keyword field. Now select Faculty in the second Category field and Science in the Keyword field. Click on search to display innovations.
For further assistance or technical difficulties with searching this database, please contact James Tracy at the Institute for Teaching and Learning.
