A RELT Scholars Network (invitation to join)

A group of researchers investigating aspects of research-enriched learning and teaching is to become an ITL sponsored Scholars Network. The group, led by Keith Trigwell, will work together to develop expertise in research-enriched learning and teaching, and to submit at least one research paper each to a high quality journal on the outcomes of their enquiries. The research topics can be drawn from the researchers’ own teaching practice, have a focus on a wider context, or both. Regular network meetings will involve discussions of relevant research papers, seminars from external academics and reports on research progress. Individually and as a team, the network will constitute a RELT resource and provide a service to the University. The nature and quality of research project ideas, and endorsement from a senior faculty leader will be requirements of acceptance.

This could be a perfect opportunity for a member of academic staff who is interested in exploring teaching and learning as a research topic, or somebody already involved to extend the focus of their research. If you would like to find out more and/or apply to join the network, please contact Keith Trigwell.
