* Project teams nominate a start date. Six month projects can run during semester two or in first semester the following year. Project teams who complete and report on their 6 month project promptly (in second semester or during first semester) would be eligible to apply for funding in the next year's round. Twelve month projects can nominate a start date anytime in the six months after notification to allow them to plan prior to start up to identify the optimal 12 month period in which to complete the project. Based on the eligibility criteria and reporting requirements outlined above, project team members on 12 month projects would not usually be expected to be eligible to apply in the following year's round.
