The Vice-Chancellor's Award for Outstanding Teaching
The purpose of this award is to promote, recognise and reward excellence in learning and teaching at the University of Sydney. For this purpose, 'teaching' includes all activities that contribute to coursework students' learning experiences and outcomes.
The Award recognises individual members of staff and/or groups who can demonstrate that their teaching is outstanding. In 2009 one award will be dedicated to an early career researcher. Each recipient will be awarded a sum of $10,000.
