National Teaching Awards and Citations

The Office for Learning and Teaching (OLT) recognises teaching excellence and outstanding contributions to student learning through Citation and Award schemes for academic and/or general staff. The Awards Scheme administered by the OLT replaces that previously administered by the ALTC.

Nominations for OLT Awards and Citations are submitted by the University.

For Citations the University may submit up to 8 nominations in a ranked list.

For the Awards for Programs that Enhance Learning each eligible institution may submit only one nomination under each category.

For the Awards for Teaching Excellence the University may submit up to eight nominations but may include more than one nomination per category.

Recipients of Citations receive $10,000 and recipients of Awards $25,000.
